GM Modular, an Indian electrical and smart home solutions provider, is all set to participate in the upcoming Smart Home Expo Mumbai, an industry event focused on smart home technology and automation. The event is scheduled to take place at the Jio World Convention Centre from 28th to 30th April. The brand will be present at Pavilion 01, Stall B21, with a 950 sq. ft. space designed to deliver an immersive experience of modern smart living.
At the expo, GM Modular will showcase its wide product portfolio spanning switches, home automation systems, lighting, home appliances, and wires and cables. Moving beyond a conventional display format, the stall has been planned as an experience-led setup where visitors can interact with products in a setting that feels closer to real-life use. The idea is to go beyond specifications and allow people to understand how these solutions actually fit into everyday living.
The participation also aims to strengthen industry engagement. Over three days, the brand will connect with architects, interior designers, developers, and channel partners, encouraging meaningful conversations around the practical application of technology and design. As smart homes move into the mainstream, the conversation is no longer just about new features, but about how easily these solutions can fit into different kinds of spaces without adding complexity.
Speaking about the participation, Jayanth Jain, MD & CEO, GM Modular said, “Over the past few years, the way people look at their homes has clearly changed. It is no longer just about how a space looks, but how well it works in day-to-day life. There is a growing need for solutions that are simple, dependable and easy to live with. That is something we have been focusing on – building products that fit in naturally, without making things feel complicated. At the Smart Home Expo, we want to bring this to life in a more complete way by showing how different solutions come together and work as one system. It is also a good chance for us to hear directly from architects, partners and other stakeholders; and understand what they really need going forward.”
The Smart Home Expo Mumbai brings together brands and professionals from across the smart home space. It has grown into a platform to exchange ideas and track how technology is being used in real life. GM Modular’s presence this year reflects its focus on keeping pace with these changes and building solutions that fit into everyday living.
